For oral presentations
The conference computers in the session rooms are being supplied with Office 2016 and PDF Viewer (MS-Windows operating system). The projectors support Full HD format (16:9, 1920×1080 pixels).
To make sure you take advantage of the projector’s full resolution, i.e. use of the entire screen surface and sharp images, it is recommended to prepare your PowerPoint slideshow using the default PowerPoint setting.
If you have images or videos in the presentation, please insert them in the presentation file; do not use links. Only fonts included in the basic installation of MS-Windows are available.
You will not be able to use your own laptop computer during the sessions for their presentation. You will need to bring your PowerPoint (or PDF) presentation on USB Memory stick and load it on the conference computer of your session room during a break before a previous session. Please also report to your session chair before the session begins. When your session is over, your presentation will be deleted; no copies or backups will be made.
The total time allocated for oral presentations is exactly 20 minutes including questions and discussion.
As the schedule is very tight, it is important to scrupulously respect the time allotted to each presentation. Therefore, please do not exceed 16 minutes for your presentation (34 minutes for a Keynote presentation) to allow for discussion and the transition to the next speaker. Strict compliance with the schedule is essential to the success of the conference and we rely on you.
Taking photographs is not authorized during the oral presentations.
Record and upload your presentation in advance
In order to ensure that the sessions involving remote and face-to-face participants run smoothly, we ask you to record your presentation (slides and speech) and to upload a video file of this recording. This will allow remote participants who are unable to attend the live sessions to view your presentation at their convenience, but also to avoid any delays or difficulties for remote participants experiencing connection problems at the time of their presentation.
You can use your favorite tool to record this video before sending it to us in mp4 format. The length must not exceed 15 minutes. If you do not know how to do this, we can offer you technical assistance.
During the sessions, the discussions on the presentations will also be recorded and made available to you.
Just log on your profile page with your last name and your reference number (the one you received after submission/registration). Then you will have a button to upload your mp4 file (25 Mo max).
